Snow, Snow Everywhere.....

I thought I would show you a few pics of the last snow storm we had.It looks beautiful but I am ready for it to go away.Even the lake has frozen over.
I love the view from our house. That is my daughter's VW bug setting down by the road as they could not get it up the drive because of the last snow storm we had and then we got all this.
That is 13 ins. of snow in one day.I am ready for sun shine and lots of it. How about you?

Guess What is Doing At Hogscald Holler....

Yes, it is snowing again here at the Holler. This is what it looked like this morning when I got up.Must not have been any wind with this snow storm.
The snow is just setting on the trees.
This is the view from my back door. The mountain goes right up from my back door.
If you look close you can see the snow coming down.
One more UFO is finished. I made 3 of these scarfs for Christmas gifts and I had enough yarn to make one more for myself.I had it started and just setting in a bag.But now it is all done and I have a new scarf.

With Valentine's day coming I thought I would make some heart pins. Here is a needle felted heart with little wool flowers.
This one is made with a strip on wool wound up and little wool flowers.

This are the same hearts that I made the candle mats out of.I thought they would make cute pins.
I think I like this one best.

Live Deeply and say"I love you" with you art.

Hooking on a Snowy Day....

It snowed all day yesterday and this is what it did to our part of the Ozarks.Hard to tell how much snow we got but it looks like about 10 ins.
I love the snow and how the trees look with the snow on them.
Here is what my rug is looking like now.I am using up some of my worms, but I still have a lot to go.
This rug is now all done. One more UFO bites the dust.
Live Deeply and go make a snowman.

Marry Christmas to All and to All a Big Snowball...

I hope you all had a very Marry Christmas. We were going to spend Christmas morning at our daugther and son-in-law's house.Because it was going to snow we when last night and it was a good thing we did.About a hour after we got there it started to snow.
Here is Ryan playing the fiddle we got him.Papaw is giving him pointers on how to play.It is so much fun having a little one around again and by next year we will have one more little one to play with.Amber and Jay are having a baby in Aug. and I am so happy.
Here is what it looked like out the back door this morning.
