Yard Sale Finds....

Saturday, Ryan and I stopped at one yard sale on the way home from town and this is what I found.Cost was $7.00.Now I need to find something to do with each.I mad prim-up the little red writing lap-desk.The man told me that the old pots and pans were his mom's when she was a child.
What do you think, ant ideals?

Live Deeply and go buy someone elses junk.

Happy Father's Day to my Daddy!

This is my Daddy and Mommy when I was first born.He was tall and thin and very dark, with black hair.As you can see he was very good looking too.He has been a great example in my life and I had a very good childhood. He worked very hard to give his girls every thing we needed and he taught us to love the outdoors.
My Mom has been dead for a long time now and Dad has done everything he could to fill her spot too.Thank you Daddy for all you do for us girls.

I love you Daddy.

NWA Hook-in & Rug Show 2009

Saturday June 13 was the 4th Annual NWA Hook-in & Rug Show in Eureka Springs Ar.I think I can say "a GREAT time was had by all". I was so pleased with how everything went.We had 147 people there and a few drop ins.I would like to thank everyone for all your kind words and to all my helpers Thank You,I could not do it without you.

Here is Charleen and Mindy checking in some of the ladies. As you can see they came with rugs in hand.

Adam was multitasking in this picture, working my booth, baby setting and teaching guitar to Mindy's son Harry.

We had some young hookers there too.

This is me and Ginger from "Primitives by the light of the moon". It is so much fun to meet some of the other bloggers.I hope some day I can have more time to visit with Ginger and her hubby.
I will post more pics tomorrow . If you came please post a comment and let us know what you thought.

Why I have not posted much?

I know I have not posted much this past month and I would like to say I am sorry.Below are two of the biggest reasons I have not been posting.First Adam has had so much going on with the band he has been in.Lots of nights we go right from work to band practice and then it is late when we get home.We both work 5 days a week and then some weekend he is playing both days.I try to be supportive and go with him when he plays but with working so much I am having a hard time getting all the household things done.I don't know how all you working Moms are getting things done.Help? Do you have hints for me.

The next thing stopping me from posting much is this cute little thing sitting in his Papaw's lap.Our grandson has been staying with us most weekends when his Mommy and daddy both have to work.I love having him here but I do know now why we have our kids when we are young. At 3 1/2 all he wants me to do is play with him.So I do.So much for the housework!

The Hook-in that I have been working on is this weekend and I can't wait.We have 140 people signed up for it right now.I know it is going to be GREAT.Be there or be square.get ready for lots of pictures from the Hook-in.

Live Deeply and go clean something.
