Two More Bite the Dust .....

I told you I was in a hooking mood. I just finished two more rugs. The one above is the bunny rug that I did for the needle felting class I taught at the NWA Hook-in.The whole bunny is needle felted and there is a little felting on the butterfly.
This little beauty is something I started to use up some of my worms. If you are a hooker you know what I mean about worm piling up.
I guess the next thing I have to do is finish the edges to the 6 rugs I have done now.As you may be able to tell, I like to hook but finishing is not my favorite thing to do.So I tend to stack up rugs till it looks bad, then I get the finishing done.

Vicki

I'm always wanting to HAVE one of those scrappy rugs, but I'm afraid I'll get bored while I'm hooking it. The best thing about those is....they can go with ANYTHING! Perhaps I should just bite the bullet and start one!
Love that bunny....too cute!
As always, you are one of the hookers who I find inspiring!

Tammy, that's funny because you inspire me too. I worked on the scrappy between the other rugs.

Debbie, I really like adding the needle felting to the rugs.

Vicki, you have inspired me. I have LOADS of worms. I like the idea of hooking on the "scrappy" beyween other projects. What do you do if you have different cuts? Thanks, Cheryl

Nice work of art. In fact i want to say that such piece because of its intricate nature can be called a the product of labor of love. You can sell some of these. Well if you don't want to then this talent is a good personal investing too.
