Art Show at "University of the Ozarks"

First I want to say I am sorry that I have not posted much in the last month. This last fall I took has me where I can't sit at the PC for very long at a time.I wish I had a laptop so I could work someplace better on my back.I am going to try to do better.
Now for my news....I have 7 rugs in a month long art show that is at the "University of the Ozarks" in Clarksville Arkansas Sept. 1-25,2009. The shows name is "Arkansas Rug Hooking Tradition and Innovation" They are having a reception to meet the artists Wed. Sept.23 7:00-8:00 at the Stephens Gallery in the Walton Fine Art Center.
There are 5 rug artist in this show and I feel so honored to be part of it.Laura Thompson did all the work getting this show put together and I can't wait to see it.

Today I started working on some things for War Eagle Craft Show that will be the 3rd weekend in Oct.This is a pile of beaver wood and drift wood that I get from the lake.

Here you can see (not to good, sorry) a bit of what I am making with the wood.I turn it into santas and witches.
I am also getting very close to having the rug I am working on done so I will have pictures soon.
Live Deeply,
Vicki
