Bad Blogger,Bad Blogger!!!!!

I have been a very bad blogger.I have not posted in a month! I don't know where me time has went.I started a new job, then I did some training for the 2010 Census.(Please be nice to the Census worker knocking on your door, it might be me.)So the last few weeks has me going from one job to the next job, then home to do the paper work. When I am done with all that I am just brain dead.I get on line and go to Facebook and that is as for as I get.I just realized how much time I am wasting playing the dumb little games on Facebook. Am I the only one or are some of you doing the same thing. I have always sit down at the end of the day and hooked on a rug or needle felted or made something. But I have not done anything lately but zombie out on Facebook.

I am making a pledge right to stop the madness!!! and get back to blogging and most of all my ART. I miss you guys. Please say Hi when you are here.

I hope I will get to see all these rugs when they are done.We had a great bunch of ladies for the spring camp.

Eureka Springs Camp with Bea Brock...

This last weekend was the Eureka Springs Rug Hooking Camp.Bea Brock was the teacher for this spring session. We had a great group of ladies and I think everyone had a fun time and worked real hard.Above is some of Bea's rugs.
Here is Bea showing some hooking stitches.
Here she is talking about and showing some of her rugs. She talked about how to do the edges.

Bea makes a color plan for each rug she hooks and you can see some of them here. That rug laying over the chair is the same rug I worked on in class.

I will post pictures of the ladies in class later.

Tile All Done....Oh What a Day....

Well, all the tile in the kitchen and entry hall id done.I am so happy with how it turned out.We do what they call a cobblestone pattern and I really like it.Adam did a great job.
This was my part of the job. This is our entry hall in the back of the house. We use this door all the time.We live on Beaver Lake so I thought it would be fun to put a beaver in the tile.I can say one thing about mosaic work,it takes a lot of time.I was on my knees for about 4 hours. But, I really love how he turned out.

Here is a view of Beaver Lake this morning. We are having a beautiful day today and I hope you are too.
Live Deeply and go soak up some sun.
