This is a group shot of everything she sent me.Two red place mats and a plaid mat.
I love this framed prim "Harvest Time " needle work picture.
This is the sweetest little pumpkin and crow with a tag the said "Fall 1812.

This is the cutest black cat with a candy corn and button eyes.

This hand towel was hand painted by Evelyn.

And this towel is so cute.the two towels are red and green, the colors of my kitchen.
Thank you so much Evelyn,I really do love everything. Each gift will help add a little more primitive look to my home.

Visit to Dana and Steve's.....

This weekend Adam and I went to Dana of Cat in My Lap and her hubby Steve's home for a visit. We had a great time and we felt so welcome there.Dana feed us like Kings and Queens. The only downer of the weekend was that Daisy never showed herself all weekend.
We got there Friday night and dinner was waiting on us and the table looked beautiful. The next morning we awoke to find breakfast being cooked and then eating out side on the patio. Then we were off to a fiber show in Kellyville. After lots of shopping and a overload of wool we stopped and had lunch then we went to the Gilcrase Museum.WOW is all I can say about the museum. If you like Cowboy and Native American art it is a must see!!! Then it was back to their home for more great food.

Here is Dana and I with her oh-so-cute bike in her backyard.
This is her dry creek bed.I really loved this.

I wish you could have seen these in person.WoW

Now you can see Dana and I at our best....shopping for fiber.

This is what you call wool heaven.I came home with 2 pounds of roving and 2 bags of silk and one book.Dana can home with a new toy, but I am going to let her tell you about it.
I hope that some day Adam and I can make that trip again too make more memories.Thank you Dana and Steve for a great weekend.
Live Deeply and go make a new friend.

The Big Four ......

Sunday we had a birthday party at our house for 4 year old grandson Ryan.He loves trains so that was our theme.

The table looked very cute.I used his trains and track down the middle of the table.

I made the placemats out of poster board.

Ryan and I mad candy trains for everyone. He had so much doing that.

And of course everyone had to dress the part. Here is Ryan and his Mommy and Daddy.

Hot Dogs is Ryan's favorite food right now so that is what we had.

Here he is about to blow out the candies.

Here he is in one of the train cars I made so he could go for a train ride.

Here you can see most of the train. He loved riding around the yard.I think fun was had by all.
Live Deeply and go play like a kid.

Great night with Family and fireworks...

This year, as last,we went to Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge to enjoy the fireworks. They did a great job I might add.The staff of Turpentine Creek were there helping park cars, shooting off the fireworks and manning a food booth. There was places roped off for the people that wanted to shoot their own fireworks too.Everyone stayed safe and had a great time.
Here is Adam and his Mom.
I really wish I could get good pictures of the fireworks.

As you can see from the faces to was a great show.Fun for all ages.

I just had to show this great picture of my baby girl,Amber.Isn't she a beauty?I hope your Fourth-of -July was as good as ours.
Live Deeply and look to the sky for beauty.
