This is my Ashford wheel.
Don't you just love the look of hand spun wool.Don't look to close or you will see my mistakes. Now you may ask why a rug hooker is learning to spin yarn?Well, it is because I want to hook with it.I have my next two rugs planned out and all I will tell you right now is that I am jumping OUT of my box.
Live Deeply and go spin some wool.

oh, I am so jealous! in a good way. I am also proud of you and I knew you'd take to this in a snap! I cannot believe you've never even had a lesson in spinning. Yes, I can believe YOU did it.
Now I have wheel envy.
p.s. Vicki! You do not have a box!
as a spinner for 2 decades I can tell you right now, there are no mistakes in spinning, just maybe an occasional fun piece. Your work looks great. Isn't spinning the most relaxing thing to do ? You can get so lost in the moment.
Love the knobby texture of the wool, it will be great for hooking with. Can't wait to see the rugs you make with it.

I love this yarn color. I would love to learn how to spin. Do you think the spinning wheel would fit in the RV?
