Dana from "Cat in My Lap"and I had a big night on the town Thursday. As you can see from this pics we are real party girls. Our first stop and our last stop for the night was Knit Wicks the cute little year shop down town Rogers, Ar. Dana is looking to buy a spinning wheel and I have one that I don't know how to use so we got some instructions and then tried our hands at spinning. I want to learn to spin so I can make some yern to hook with.
Now, this lady here is why our last stop was back at Knit Wicks.Dianna has been spinning for over 20 years and is very good at it.It was nice to see a pro at work.Dana and I had a great time and I think we both learned something.
All the spinning wheels shown are Ashford's and that is the kind I own.I just had to have a Ashford because that is my maiden name.

Live Deeply and go spin some wool.

It was fun, but girl I could hardly drag my butt out of bed for my class the next day! I'm surprised Adam did not send out a search party for us.
You took great pics of me, thank you for that! And it was so fun, I have wished all weekend for my own wheel.
And in case others do not pick up ont he spelling as quick as I did, (of course I was there) she meant Yarn shop, not year shop. Easy mistake!
Hey Vick! Let's go back soon, those girls could teach us some knitting tricks too I bet!
p.s. I am touched that you have a tag for "dana"
wow! I need a kleenex please!
I love the way the traditional is painted, beautiful.
I have been spinning for nearly 20 years on my double drive traveller and adore it. It is so easy to take places with me or just take it to the front porch and spin while the world goes round
Yeah, I LOVE my presents from Mom that you made! They are so cute! I have the owl and also a cat on a hanger(I think is yours:) Very cute! Hope you are all well.
